A giant step in the right direction

In any democracy, sealing a political alliance in view of the conquest and exercise of power is a laudable initiative, as it opens promising new prospects for significant changes to the country. Given the growing concern that exists about the future of the democratic process, I personally welcome the leaders and members of the OPL, those of the Fusion of Haitian Social Democrats and the Democratic Convention unit who understood that the time has finally arrived to leave the past behind and look to the future.
By agreeing to put aside all their old battles clan to offer the nation a patriotic alternative to the progress and democracy, the parties constituting the new political structure has performed an act fraught with meaning: despite the disappointment, discouragement and great despair that Unity Lespwa has aroused among different components of Haitian society, there are still reasons for hope.

Bravo! It is a giant step just taken.

A major step that will, we believe, significantly contribute to the stabilization and economic development. If the activists of these parties have participated actively and constructively to the creation of this platform because they have realized that to save the country from the disaster, a broad alliance was necessary, even unavoidable. However, admittedly, if this alternative was more than necessary, we must admit that it is not enough to save the country. In this sense, I think it is necessary and even beneficial to leave the door open for other political parties who consider the current policy, as practiced at the National Palace, will lead the country anyway disaster. We believe that in this particularly difficult, it is necessary to find common solutions to the problems of Haiti. In coming together, combining credible parties, men and women authentic, we manage to develop potential solutions that will lead to a political future for our youth and society as a whole. Form a coherent whole to restore confidence, consolidate democratic gains, strengthening the institutions of the Republic, Haiti commit towards a modern and sustainable economic development, rebuild the infrastructure of the country, tackling serious environmental problems related to environmental degradation, etc.., what are the challenges of the day. So, remain open and be united. Together we will.
