Haiti election: Candidates declared


Haiti newsAcross the country, approximately 900 candidates are down to the deputation and the Senate for only 99 posts in the Lower House and 11 in Grand Corps. According to officials of various countries of BED, the registration process was uneventful.



While the balance of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) is expected, the figures given by various officials of the departmental electoral offices (BED) of the country, contacted by The Nouvelliste, indicate that about 100 candidates are down in the Senate and 800 the deputation. Some of them are enrolled subject. They have until Thursday to complete their pieces.

The BED West I and II

More than 160 candidates are down in the West BED I including 12 in the Senate. According to the chairman of that office, Jaccillon Bartholomew, last day was the hardest.
